Protect Yourself from Scams 

Concerned about online scams? This workshop for seniors provides clear information and practical tips for online safety, along with ample time for questions, making it engaging and accessible for all participants.

Understanding Australian Government Decision Making
During this session (in English and Mandarin), you will learn about Australian government decision making at the three levels of government, with a final focus on local government. 

Making Sense of Misinformation and the Media

What does misinformation mean to you? Young adults aged 18 to 25 are welcome to join the ABC Education team to explore the topic of misinformation and its relationship with news and civic participation.

Introduction to Photography 

Dive into our immersive and interactive photography workshop and explore the magic of visual story telling. Whether you're a curious beginner or looking to expand your skills, learn how to turn the ordinary into extraordinary. 

WestWords Creative Writing: Adam Byatt

Join Adam Byatt for an engaging creative writing workshop and explore the art of storytelling.  
Adam is a high school English teacher, with stories published in ZineWest, MountedARI Luft Anthology, Flash Fiction Magazine and The School Magazine.

Collection Conversations with Powerhouse Volunteers

Stories from Persia: Coinciding with the celebration of Nowrouz, this talk explores objects from the Powerhouse collection that tell captivating stories of Persia's rich history and culture. 

Game Design Workshop 

This workshop offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge VR technology and practical tips to unleash your child's creativity. They will learn to craft captivating experiences that transport players into new realms of excitement and adventure. 

Citizenship Community Access Course

Our experienced trainers will help you approach the Australian citizenship test with confidence and provide personalised support for your transition to becoming an Australian citizen.
