This edition highlights some great events: an in-depth introduction to various resources and research methods to trace your family lineage; a Smart Devices workshop, where you'll learn to effectively use Google Maps, translation applications and online banking; a meaningful and inspiring mini expo in celebration of the International Day for People with Disability.

Satisfaction Survey

How happy are you with Council? Residents are invited to complete the annual Community Satisfaction Survey to tell us how satisfied they are with our services, facilities and overall performance. The survey is open until Sunday, 1 December 2024.

Robotics Workshop for People with Disability

This robotics workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of robotics and coding through interactive, hands-on activities. You will begin with an exploration of robot kits and basic robot construction, followed by an introduction to block-based programming. 

Mini Expo: Celebrating IDPwD

Join us for a meaningful and inspiring mini expo in honour of International Day for People with Disability. This event will showcase adaptive technologies, resources, and organisations dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. 

Introduction to Family History

Are you eager to delve into your family history but feeling unsure of where to begin? Join us for a comprehensive introduction to various resources and research methods for exploring your family lineage.

Smart Devices Workshop (in Mandarin)

Are you finding it challenging to navigate your smartphones or tablets? Join us for our free Smart Devices workshop to learn how to utilise Google Maps and translation apps, engage with social apps like WeChat and WhatsApp, manage online banking and more.

Author Talk with Tea Cooper

We have released extra tickets for this super popular event! Join Australian author Tea Cooper as she discusses her latest historical novel, The Golden Thread. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A, book signings, and a chance to dive deeper into Tea's new novel.
