Get ready for an exciting array of school holiday activities! Children will be able to get creative with sand art or kaleidoscope making, decorate their own library bag, explore the world of electronics, soar high with a drone, meet Australian wildlife, and much more. We also have lots of regular programs, including a monthly Auslan story time.

 

As always, we have a line-up of workshops, events, and programs for adults, including a session that aims to improve your financial literacy skills and a workshop for Chinese migrants that plan to settle in Australia.

A NAIDOC Week Experience 

Come and explore the rich local Aboriginal history, art, and symbols with us. Dive into the world of traditional Aboriginal tools and weapons, unravel the significance of symbols, and craft your own journey stones by painting and weaving personal stories into symbols.

Auslan Story Time

Come along to our monthly Auslan interpreted story time sessions at Parramatta Library. The sessions, held at 1:30PM on the last Monday of each month, are catered to deaf and hearing children aged from birth to 5 years, with the aim of fostering an inclusive environment and enhancing literacy skills.
