Auslan Story Time

Come and join us for our monthly story time sessions, featuring Auslan interpretation! These sessions are perfect for participants aged from birth to five years of age, and are designed to be inclusive for both deaf and hearing members of the community. The sessions are held on the last Monday of every month at Parramatta Library at PHIVE.

Introduction to Email & Social Media

Are you a senior that is keen to learn how to carry out your online activities more confidently and safely? Join us for a series of four Tech Savvy Seniors training sessions, to learn about computers, tablets,  smartphones, email and social media.

Beginners Computer Course 

Join us for a five-week program that will teach you basic computer skills, including how to create a word document, browse the Internet, and send emails. The classes will be conducted in English and Chinese.

Lunar New Year: Chinese Calligraphy 

Prepare to celebrate the Year of the Dragon by watching talented Chinese calligrapher, Xueyi, showcase her talents and prepare a small gift for you to take home and celebrate Lunar New Year!

Nurturing Child Mental Health with Dr Doyle

Join Dr Fran Doyle from MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development who will be talking about child mental health and how parents can provide support.

English Conversation Interviews  

If you would like to enrol in an English Conversation course, you are required to attend an interview at Parramatta Library at PHIVE. These classes are designed for post beginner and intermediate levels.

Join Service NSW at Ermington Library or Dundas Library to learn about water, gas, and electricity rebates, which are available to eligible concession cardholders.

Lunar New Year Celebrations

Join in the festivities of the Year of the Dragon during Lunar New Year! Come to Parramatta Square and Centenary Square to enjoy decorations, lion dancing, delicious food, workshops and live entertainment. Look out for the giant dragon installation too. Free entry!
